Life has a way of teaching you things through difficult times. We'd all love to sail through life growing and evolving in the midst of happy times but the truth is that's not the way it goes -and that is okay. I've made it to 2015 and have many new beginnings to look forward to.

This is my first post of 2015 & it's been many months since I last blogged. I guess I need to do a little explaining...
2014 started out great, I was full of dreams and ready to take my passion to the next level. Somewhere along the way though, I found myself in the midst of burnout, struggling financially and generally feeling as though I had throughly lost my way.
I had originally planned to go into more detail about what happened but suffice to say I found out who my friends were and more importantly who I am.

The two very exciting ones are my first book which I am in the process of completing, (one of the cool things that I started in 2014) & my new home (again, another cool journey I embarked on in 2014). Rest assured that I will tell you all about them in due course.

Here's to a beautiful new year filled with promise & tasty buttercream.
Peace & love
